I have seen Eric Gales many times, even shook his hand at his bar in Chicago, he is one of the iconic electric blues man of our times. If you want to go to a show that stays with you for days afterward, this is the one to see! Eric Gales puts his heart and soul into his music and he makes sure you feel it too! Very tastefully done through his song entitled "Too Close to the Fire" The venue, was perfect, the sound exceptional, the entertainment was about as professional as you can get, with the personal touch that one will remember. Black Jacket Symphony's influence can be heard through many musicians, He was grateful for the support and the love that is shared. He also took a minute to speak about the love and support that we must share between us, especially during these crazy times we are living in.

The Black Symphony Hoho Show completely blew me. I love how they played their new album and their old album songs. Dan and the boys were having the time of their lives. It had to be the best night of my life, completely unforgettable. You never knew what was coming next, making the whole experience thrilling. I'm definitely seeing them again in the spring when they come back to the States. Actually, I'm hoping to get full on meet and greets, but that's probably not going to happen. We drove about 5 hours to see this show in really rough winter weather and it was worth it beyond.

"Black Jacket Symphony was wonderful, as usual. Hearing Norman Leyden on the clarinet - 94 yrs. young and still a virtuoso - was one of the highlights of the evening. Also, a treat to hear Saori Yuki in person. We love Black Jacket Symphony and have all the CDs. I even have a PM t-shirt (one of the few I saw at this event). Probably will not do a zoo concert again unless I can get reserved seats. Finally ended up standing in a nook near the elephant enclosure where we could see and hear pretty well. Since we couldn't arrange our day to get to the zoo by 4 p.m. so we would be in line for grabbing a seat at 5 p.m. ( the show started at 7 - Black Jacket Symphony came on about 7:35 ), we were so far back that we could neither see the stage or hear all that well. It would be nice if the 10" max on chairs was enforced and there was some way to get people to move closer together on the lawn. I am getting too old to stand for an entire concert. Tried for this one, but they were gone in a poof."

The Electric Factory's main level has no seating, so you're standing throughout the entire show. Black Jacket Symphony was over 2 hours late, and I think an apology or explanation should have been given by the venue. Finally, when Black Jacket Symphony took the stage, there was no mention of the delay, which I found rude. Standing for hours is exhausting, and adding more time for a concert is unbearable. By her third song, I was eager to leave just to sit down. Despite the delays, Black Jacket Symphony's performance was incredible. Her vocals were great, and the show was well worth the money. She always delivers and never disappoints.
